I wanted to be near the top. This pic is the cycle of marriage. First things are all sweet and perfect. The second pic is the mid life crisis, and the last one is of divorce. Ah the times we are currently in.
Well you’re not supposed to flip cookies, dumbass. And you’re supposed to underestimate the pre-cooked size of the cookie dough, as it expands significantly as you found out in frame 2, making your heart look enlarged, diseased, and as if it’s covering its ears with mitten-encased hands.
In other news, you should really look up what you’re doing before trying to do it. Wasting resources when you clearly don’t know how to bake (no offense, but you clearly don’t) and wasting time and effort is no good.
Wasting resources? He was trying to do something nice for his wife! I don’t think there is a world shortage of cookie dough so I think you can calm down
I actually like my cookies a little burnt, they taste better crispy but anyways anyone who has ever made a cookie before knows that they expand when you put them in the oven. So you have to make the shape smaller then you want it to be when they are done.
I have yet to see darn near any baking recipe that calls for you to flip for even cooking.
Next time do this: Get a basic “cookie cake” recipe off the internet. (The REAL internet, not reddit or memebase) Use 1 9 inch round pan and 1 9 inch square pan. Follow the directions. No, seriously, follow the directions. When they are baked and cooled and out of the pans, cut the round cake in half and put each half on one angle of the square. Boom. Cookie cake heart. If all that sounds like a lot of work (which it is) call the Walmart bakery and order one.
thought the same thing, would’ve risen since it couldn’t expand outward, wonder how deep it would get and if the cooking time would be skewed as a result… don’t bake, don’t know.
Please don’t take offense, Drenal – but I immediately thought this might’ve been the result of a telepod accident (The Fly). Glad to hear you two made the most of it, and it was truly a sweet thing to do for your sweetie ^^

Just a question: How do you make comix?
Step 1. Buy a shot gun.
Step 2. Load shotgun.
Step 3. Aim at computer.
Step 4. Pull trigger.
If the comix doesn’t appear within 4 hours, repeat process.

Oh, and greasing the baking sheet is key as well.
When I make cookies I actually tend NOT to grease the baking sheet. Mine always come out just fine.
It depends on the baking sheet you use. I have these wonderful non stick ones that never need greasing. Pampered Chef rules.
Simple alcoholic cardio myopathy, bro.
Lupus.
Its always Lupus.
Dude, it’s never Lupus.
close enough

I like the cut of your jib.
I hate when people say “EVERY TIME I BAKE IT COMES OUT HORRIBLE! STUPID RECIPE!”
they have absolutely no idea what the hell they’re doing, food-wise.

If it puts you at ease – we ate most of it. Still tasted great!
Or you can learn by trial and error. One does not max out cooking without grinding through low level recipes.
It’s the thought that counts
Everything went worse than expected

You needed a heart-shaped pan there, sport.

so full of fail thats its now full of win.
It really is the thought that counts. If my man were to attempt that, I’d still be happy and do him.

Am I the only one who would find this extremely adorable? Especially if he showed me what it was supposed to be. XD
You can see Jesus’s face in the cookie

It’s pretty adorable that you tried. But yeah – you don’t have to flip cookies.
