He probably knew all along but was too classy to mention it.
Could you be any more out of touch with modern times? Danny Glover has been known to say some pretty unsavory things about others himself, particularly about homosexuals.

Actually, he comes from a racist and anti semitic background. This is his third or so racist rage in a short time. Most racists people say something along the lines of,”I have a black friend… he loves me!”. People assume he had friends of all creeds because he acted with them in movies… that doesn’t make them friends. The amount of work he does has nothing to do with his personal beliefs.
Anger only unleashes what was already dwelling beneath the surface. I’ve had plenty of rages in my life and never have I even thought to throw around racial slurs. I don’t even think about such things and I’m not “tolerant”, nor should anyone else be. “tolerance” would mean I’d have to be annoyed with something in the first place and then “tolerate” something. The proper word is acceptance of things different than yourself.
What’s even funnier is Mr. Glover there has thrown out a lot of “Those damn Crackers” comments, but no one cares about that sort of thing. The world is full of racist hypocrites.
Actually, I must have missed those. The only time I’ve seen something like that from him was when it was written for him. The difference for other people I assume, is the fact that he’s never made national television because he was doing it.
