Meh, i hate it when they make fun of his. Sure, Airbender sucked bad, but overall his movies are NOT bad, i mean, he made FREAKING SIXTH SENSE, FFS
Sixth Sense wasn’t bad. It was absolutely drivel and the so-called twist was so obvious that I was still waiting for the incredible twist by the time the credits started rolling.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Was going to ask who started such an obviously false rumor about M. Night’s movies being good, but you saved me the time in seeking the answer. lol
M. Night sucks as a filmmaker, period. I can make a movie about two dogs fucking, and it would be better than anything he has filmed, including the Sixth Sense. Unlike other filmmakers, his films all have one common thing to them–you can only watch them once. For instance, you can watch Inception over, and over, and over, and pull from it new things each time you see it. M. Night films? Watch them once, then it is “oh, the kid sees dead people,” or “oh, the aliens are afraid of water,” or “oh, they live in a wild life preserve,” etc. One dimentional crap. JEBUS!!!

I’m not going to defend Night, but I’d like to add I can’t watch inception again either. Memento is a movie I could watch over and over.
^Agree. Machinist is one I could watch forever as well… pretty much any decent mind f*** film… but I don’t consider m night’s movies to be mind f***s.
