Turn the other cheek implies that something was done towards who it was directed towards, so you can’t really use that saying.
except that that commandment is supposed to be used on an interpersonal basis, therefore it can be used, all the time. On the large scale, it can also be used, because we’re all human, and therefore all suck.

BTW, Jesus was never called a Jew. He was Judean, but the term Jew as applied to Judaens never even began until at least the 1800s, becoming more common in the 1900s. Being mentioned in modern day bibles does not mean the term was used until recent times.

Technically, Israel is the nation.. Judaism is a religion/faith.. And since a majority of the Jews-by-birth seem to share a common ancestry (including some prominent physical features), calling them a “race” isn’t too far fetched

I really dont see how Christianity is anti semitic. Its always been Christians who have supported Israeli when Muslims and atheists have always criticized it. And like the comic says Jesus was Jewish. So if your arguments are that christians hate Jews then we must also hate Jesus.
Jesus WAS anti-semetic. He drove them out of the house of the Lord with cords, overturning their money-changing tables and various other evils designed to enslave God’s children, us.
Seriously.. the Holocaust guilt trip is getting out of hand. Sure, the Holocaust was a major tragedy, and should never have happened, but it did. And yes, we feel sorry for the victims and survivors and they deserve our sympathy and respect, but seriously.. the younger generations of Jews and other assorted “oppressed/abused” groups need to stop mooching off the Holocaust victims’ suffering with their victimized.. They need to stop with the “but our folk were singled out and killed mercilessly, so we deserve a break” crap.
And Jews weren’t the only folk that were massacred during the Holocaust. So branding it a “massacre of Jews”, just cause they were among the majority of victims, is just wrong, and frankly, an insult to the rest.
That aside, branding Christianity an inherently anti-semitic religion is just stupid..By the same token, you could claim Christianity/Islam/Judaism as inherently egotistical and anti-other religions, with their emphasis on the Only God/No False Idols/Only Messiah preachings..Not to mention all the Holy Wars, propaganda, fundamentalism in their regions..
