  1. Theserenity says:

    BOOBIES!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. tvghtnvntie says:

I liked it for the reference in the title.

  3. Bill says:

    HE PRINTS MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Dave says:

This joke was just done. Lame.

  5. Feyn says:

Please. If trying to write German, do it right.
    “Kapitalismus über Alles”

  6. Blarp says:

Yes. Che’s image being used to sell a ton of junk is ironic. The joke is at least a century old, get over it.

  7. HUNTAAAR says:

i like Castro’s last frame in this picture; in reference to everything else going on in the pictures, it almost makes it seem like he is in favor of this marketing of communism (and in a non-ironic way) whether to promote his ideals or to cash in on it

  8. Erik says:

The title is terrible. Capitalism above all? That form of Government takes it up the butt.

  9. Why Not Wear A Stalin Shirt? says:

“When you saw the beaming look on Che’s face as the victims were tied to the stake and blasted apart by the firing squad,” said a former Cuban political prisoner, to your humble servant, “you saw there was something seriously, seriously wrong with Che Guevara.” As commander of the La Cabana execution yard, Che often shattered the skull of the condemned man (or boy) by firing the coup de grace himself. When other duties tore him away from his beloved execution yard, he consoled himself by viewing the slaughter. Che’s second-story office in La Cabana had a section of wall torn out so he could watch his darling firing-squads at work.

  10. Ido Deisuke says:

The last one is probably a reference to the fact, that in the end, Castro wanted him simply gone… And thx to the Bolivian military for shooting this piece of junk!

  11. fraoch says:

Poor Che. He worked so hard and all he got was his face on a stupid t-shirt.

    • Ido Deisuke says:

He was a vile piece of junk and it serves him right.

      • Anna Rexia says:

Fraoch was making a joke reference. Some years ago, the trend in tourist-aimed t-shirts was, for example, “My parents visited Miami and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!” and many others like that.

Therefore, the joke here is “Che worked so hard at being a mass murderer, and all he got was his face on this lousy t-shirt.” And coffee mug. And wall banner. Lather, rinse, repeat.

      • Kayleigh says:

FUCKIN’ A RIGHT HE DOES. my cousins are starving in Cuba because his stupid-ass helped put Castro in power. Pendejo mejor.

    • Mr. Wong says:

indeed, capitalism has backstabed him in the grave

  12. Kitty says:

I like the red shirt though, Planet of the Apes was a good movie.

  13. Nabead says:

    Like

  14. Matt says:

It’s sort of like Rage Against The Machine, moaning about how horrible America and capitalism is while making tens of millions of dollars under contract with Sony.

  15. required says:

    Che is a fag.

yes, it is a bad thing

  16. Mr. Wong says:

and capitalism strikes again, oh the freakin’ irony

  17. O, I get it. It’s irony.

  18. stunnercold says:

Che didnt necessarily spend his life ‘fighting the capatilist pigs’….he probably ended up with his own pockets full. Just see some of his wealth resulting from hiscelebrity status and decide.

  19. Cuba remained a communist nation under the influence of Che for so long and look what they ended up with, just crippling poverty and a dull economy. Even the sales of Che branded tshirts cannot save it dying economy.

  20. Lol, this is pretty good.

  21. cheap says:

Che is a communist and a terrorist, why anyone want to have a t shirt with him on it?

  22. Ari says:

Maybe not as ironic as you think: check out the Rolex on Che’s wrist in the “facepalm” shot.

  23. Evan says:

Ahh the irony! However, I don’t think Che was against capitalism as he was against Imperialism.

    Evan

  24. greed works says:

    why?

so we can all go back to living like nobles and serfs?

  25. Kevitivity says:

To add to the irony, Che hated the artist community as well – yet today they tend to be some of his most loyal supporters. Reason TV has a good interview with some of Che’s living friends and associates – the things they say about him, his hatred for black people, homosexuals, and his blood lust for executions, are truly horrific.

  26. GoneWithTheWind says:

I think most people remember Che as a murderous pig who killed thousands of innocent people simply because he enjoyed it. Castro certainly exceeded Che’s murder rate and is only worse because he lived longer.

  27. Greg Knudsen says:

See Capitalist Mao pic – http://twitpic.com/1ufcz5

  28. Bruno says:

“I wonder how the world will remember me” is a declaration of action. That action being you pondering the question “how will the world remember me”

The former is a statement and should end in a period, the latter is a question that should end in a question mark.

The two ways you pose the statement however brings to light one of the interesting quirks of language. Syntactically, both terms are correct, it simply depends on the context and situation the words are brought up that would determine grammatical usage.

  29. Charlee says:

You cannot fight free markets, because they spring up spontaneously, and they have no pride.

Hate capitalism, and capitalism will sell you an “I HATE CAPITALISM” t-shirt, and thank you for your business.

    • Ido Deisuke says:

Yeah. There is capitalism everywhere, and when this is a country, which officially supresses the free market, the freemarket will go underground or this regime will eventually make zones for the free market, who will become bigger and bigger, until the whole land is such a zone and this capitalism will start to undermine this regime… e.g. in PRC.

  30. Jesika says:

I saw that SirTin was offering shirts at 5 for $30 that say “I Love Farmers” t-shirts…. I can offer the same shirts @ 5 for $25 plus two free “I hate Capitalism” t-shirts AND a frequent customer discount… Call me @ (555) 555-5555. We can will do good business.

  31. matt says:

i wonder which part of the kid’s motorcycle tour consisted of ‘fighting the capitalist pigs’.
one of the main reasons behind the cuban crisis was to do with the taking back of land from companies, which was done so that it could be used productivly. unfortunatly one of those companies was a big food producer that some high ups in the US government held stock in, this lead to certain people beinging in a slander capaign.

note: the land that was taken back was IDLE land, as in not being used.
the company (which i forget the name) had a large proportion of unused land, somewhere in the vicinity of 70% if my memory serves me
the company wanted 75$ per hectre but the government was only going to pay 3$.

the kid was not infact fighting capitalism in the way most people think, rather he was aiming to re-build venezuala. but on his journeys he met fidel and joined up with him, once he liberated cuba he was put in a position of something like finance minister where he proceeded to raise the GDP or somethign from 80m$ to 150$ (although it did drop to 65m$ when he first started).
my memory is a bit weak but most of that should be on the right track, but yo uwould be wise to read up on it yourself as then you would have actual knowledge

  32. Ernesto says:

Manga de giles , no saben nada

  33. Amelie says:

The title is silly…ueber alles is from the first line of the previous German anthem, crazy Nazi shit, which is now forbidden to be sung in Germany, it goes
    “Deutschland, Deutschland ueber alles”
    translation
“Germany, Germany above everything in the world”
before you use a catch phrase, go and inform yourself about it’s origin.
Unless you are trying to equate Capitalism with Nazi Germany?? I find that pretty unreasonable.

    • howlincat says:

“Deutschland Uber Alles” was written well BEFORE the Nazis. It is still the official anthem of Germany. I believe J. Strauss wrote the melody. There is hardly a country in the world whose anthem does not have similar sentiments, except maybe the Internationale, which replaced “country” with “class”.
And Che was a murderous loser, who despised homosexuals ( threw them into prison ), yet walk down Christopher Street in NYC and you will see his image everywhere. Just goes to show, lefties are tools.

  34. err... says:

    oh god
Ido Deisuke you’re such a spammer
i got tired of reading your name all over the page…

  35. Lynch says:

such ignorance… calling che a mass murderer… you should read some more, and stop repeating what your redneck parens say.
note, i really dislike socialists, but hollow anti socialists, like ido deisuke, really piss me off

    • Ido Deisuke says:

This guy was took part in so called “revolutionary trials” to deliver ideological rivals of the new terror regime to death and torture.

    • mavisbeecon says:

And you my friend, should follow your own advice to find out he IS a mass murderer.
Note: no country that wants to last more than one generation should focus on a single style of economy, socialist countries need some form of capitalist companies, and capitalist countries need socialist programs like welfare, charities, etc.

  36. cha says:

is it just me, or does he look like a bearded Liam Neeson?

  37. Kevin Miller says:

How soon we forget that Communism/Socialism is an unrealistic, utter failure. The Cold War is over may it rest in peace. A wise man once saidif yo are not a liberal at age 23 you have no heart: if you are still a liberal after age 24 you have no brain…

  38. upsidedownhat says:

In the last one he kinda looks like Liam Neeson. o_o

  39. I became just browsing occasionally in addition to you just read this post. I have to admit that we are in the hand of luck today if not obtaining this kind of an good write-up to determine wouldn’t are achievable for me, at the incredibly least. Incredibly enjoy your content.
