What’s ironic is that the guy who plays Tommy is actually American Indian, not Rocky or Jason. Crazy how things like that work out, you know?

The only two that were mixed up were the Yellow and Black, which they changed in later seasons due to complaints.
On that note: I actually know someone who did martial arts training with the guy who played Tommy…apparently he is pretty damn skilled.

To be fair, once we found out Tommy was Native American, he stopped being the White Ranger and became the Red Ranger.

Actually about the red ranger is a fact of real life, eventhough the character may not be related to Native America, Jason or Austin St. John has Native American heritage. Tommy or Jason David Frank too.
Actually I was surprised when on the new Power Rangers the asian chick was actually the pink one and the yellow one was the blonde cute girl.
