I think you’re expecting too much from them. I mean, they don’t even know the difference between “where” and “were.” And it’s not even like those are homophones or anything either.
Maybe it’s all over the news due to the fact that most of the issues with Toyota’s cars in the past have not affected people in Japan and this time there are just about as many reports coming from within the country as there are from elsewhere (proportionally).
Toyota puts parts into more than just Toyota vehicles as well. For example, Lexus. So when you consider the fact that this issue causes the car to go to the top speed (in one instance a Lexus was up to ~170 MPH) this is a huge problem. We’ve never seen this happen with a Chevrolet or a Ford, or Honda or BMW for that matter.
Shhhhh. Quiet unless you know what you are talking about.
Meh. As a fan of Toy Yodas, I can say that they use way too much precision and am not surprised that this would happen. When something is calibrated to such tolerances that you have to overhaul the engine to adjust for a timing-belt replacement, it’s not surprising that a pedal would stick when the weather changes or be caught by the floormat.
The thing that makes a Toy Yoda run damn near forever, more fuel efficient than most competitors and whatnot also makes them fragile. With the sole exception of the old Toyota Pickups, which, as Top Gear demonstrated, are nearly indestructible.
With all the other car recalls lately, I was just waiting for Yoda’s turn.
Most of these stupid comixed suck anyways, you think they would at least edit out the ones written by people who never passed the 6th grade. Save me the time of asking myself why I even bother with this page.
Hahahaha Thumbs up. I own 2 Toyotas – so far so good. I can remember when “Made in Japan” was a joke. Now if its from Japan or Germany, it is top notch. I think they’ll survive, but it was kind of irritating the way it sounds like they tried to deny the problem to individual people, until people got together and busted Toyota. This embarrassment should do the trick…
first? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa funnyest est ist thing ever
i love that black fellow
Frust.
Or not.
This is…terrible.
why does this exist? a few more like this and ill never come here again
did you stop to think that maybe your sense of humor sucks?
did you stop to think that the creator of this has NO sense of humor?
You know the word balloons don’t HAVE to start right at their lips.
But it’s funnier when they do.

Good point.
it’s like they’re smoking word bubble pipes or something
No, some people might think the sounds comes out the eyes, it’s good to remind them every once and a while.
but now you know for sure
LoL…. if you dont get it, you should watch the news
I’m pretty sure everyone gets it. There hasn’t been a post questioning it yet.
That and it’ll all over the news to increase American car company’s dicks, so they can pretend their cars don’t suck.

I don’t get it. But i have an excuse… I’m Australian? lol
Wow, that’s a really good argument…
Toyotas exist in Australia, and we had the accelerator issue too…..
were
…and it’s “were” not “where”
should say “were”, not “where” also the whole thing is just bad
You do realize like 3 people have pointed that out.
they commented as i wrote mine lol
wait that can’t be right, anyway somehow no1 else had said that when i commented – according to my screen!
I echo the “were” comments, but anything with Mal makes me happy. XD
Yep. Gotta love Captain Tightpants
S-T-U-P-I-D

If you have to bother with posting here, you already fail at having better things to do. I haven’t checked this place in a few weeks, so whatever.
I’ll say it, it was funny. It satirized current news and the expressions of the people fit their words.
BWA
“He Drives a Toyota” LOL
I don’t understand what Captain Reynolds has to do with Toyotas at all.

Hahaa, this was great! FIREFLY!
I’d find this one completely unfunny if it wasn’t Malcolm Gorramn Reynolds there upholding the law.
Goddamn browncoat…
Oi! None of that ya purplebelly. Everybody knows anything gets funnier with firefly in it.
lame joke is lame
this is only good because of the Firefly picture
One does not simply post a picture of Captain Malcolm Reynolds and pretend that he is a police officer.
